Microzedin Foam
A body skin disinfectant foam with a broad antimicrobial spectrum, effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, and viruses. This product is used for preoperative skin preparation of patients before surgical procedures.
Ingredients:
• Chlorhexidine Digluconate 2%
• Ethanol

• Utilizes the synergistic effect of two types of biocides in the formulation to help prevent surgical site infections
• Provides persistent antibacterial activity due to the binding of chlorhexidine to the skin surface layer (for approximately 6 hours)
• Contains a special formulation with moisturizing and skin-conditioning agents to help prevent skin dryness
• Before surgery, apply an appropriate amount of foam onto a bathing sponge or special washcloth and thoroughly wash the areas from the neck downward. After 3–5 minutes, rinse and dry the treated area. If bathing is not possible, the rinsing step may be omitted.
Note: This procedure must be performed at least twice within the 24 hours prior to surgery.
• This product can be stored in sealed containers at room temperature (25–30°C), away from direct sunlight and flammable materials, for 2 years.
• This product is for external use only and should not be applied to deep wounds.
• Avoid contact with the head, face, meninges, eyes, ears, and mouth. Do not use this product for newborns and infants under 2 months of age.
• In case of accidental contact, ingestion, or any drug sensitivity reaction, thoroughly wash the contaminated area and consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children, food, and beverages.

• Dermal toxicity-free certificate from the Toxicology Department of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center, Tehran University.
Microzidine Foam disinfectant solution is supplied in polyethylene containers with a volume of 150 ml.
